Commissioned - High School

COMMISSIONED-HIGH SCHOOL MINISTRY

Romans 12: 1-2
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Jesus has COMMISSIONED believers everywhere to Go and make disciples of all the nations, Matthew 28: 18-20. It is not to be assumed as a suggestion, but rather a commandment, to share with others the grace that has been given to us through the sacrificial death of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary. The grace that has been given to us cost Him everything. So here my dear brethren (High School Youth) the Apostle Paul pleads with us, to our being COMMISSIONED by God and calls us to present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service, following the example set forth by Jesus. We then as believers in Jesus Christ need to take extreme measures in our lives because this world no longer has the power to conform you to its mold. God’s good and acceptable and perfect will is that your lives show that you have been transformed by the renewing power of the Holy Spirit and God’s word being worked out in your lives, which will be the proof that you are His new creation.

SUNDAY SERVICE
The High School Ministry meets during our regular Sunday Service time at 9am in the Retreat Center Room. We mirror the service order in the Main Sanctuary by opening our service in prayer followed by youth ran worship, Scripture reading and the teaching of God’s word. We are currently studying the book of Hebrews.

WEDNESDAY SERVICE
The High School Ministry meets during our regular mid week Wednesday night service at 7pm. The youth are dismissed after corporate worship and prayer. We are currently studying the book of Colossians. We encouraged the youth to spend personal time with the Lord and His word during the week.

We have various “Youth Worship Nights” through out the year that provides the youth of our fellowship an opportunity to invite their friends or unbelievers to a concert like atmosphere where the Gospel is preached and lives are transformed.
